AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D & Ryzen 9 7900X3D 3D V-Cache CPUs are now available at discounted prices through various retailers.
AMD 3D V-Cache CPUs See Promotional Price Cuts: Ryzen 9 7950X3D For $674 US & 7900X3D For $549 US
The AMD Ryzen 7000X3D series processors have been more available in plentiful stock since their launch. Now, certain retailers in the US have started to offer these chips with timed promos. The retailers offering these discounts include Newegg and Microcenter and come at a time when the Ryzen 7000 CPU family has been hit with several cases of burnouts due to what AMD claims are a voltage issue in the BIOS firmware supplied through motherboard manufacturers.
The reduction could be a sign of further discounts shortly, but regardless, it is great to see the highly sought-after processor series become more accessible to the public. Newegg has started a promotion that will grant customers a promo code ("DDTGCR2452") to take $25 off the AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D CPU, lowering the price to $675.
At Microcenter, the discount is on the AMD Ryzen 9 7900X3D CPU, where users can expect a reduction of $50, lowering the price to $549.99.
The Ryzen 9 7950X3D on sale at Newegg is slightly above that price at Microcenter, with the retailer selling the processor for $679.99.

Since launch, both retailers are now selling those processors at the lowest prices in this series. The missing processor from this list is the AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D, announced earlier this month. No retailer has begun offering sales or promotions on that particular SKU but that's expected since it is selling like hotcakes and even managed to surpass the sales of its Zen 3 predecessor, the Ryzen 7 5800X3D. In addition to the promo, the Ryzen 7000 & Ryzen 7000X3D CPUs come with a copy of Star Wars: Jedi Survivor which is redeemable over here.
