Someone already purchased the Apple Vision Pro flex cable, as the listing is no longer available
On eBay, a person called ‘yoquierotacobell’ is selling the Apple Vision Pro flex cable for $80, which is an exorbitant amount, given that the item being sold only comprises of a ribbon cable and two connectors at the end. For some reason, the seller has stated that the flex cable belongs to the LCD panels of the AR headset, but according to Apple’s marketing material, the Vision Pro features two microLEDs, and LCDs. Whether or not it was a typo on the seller’s part, that 100% positive feedback rating would ease the mind of anyone wanting to spend $80 on cable.
Though the item is no longer for sale because someone has already purchased it, the seller mentioned that the flex cable was completely brand new and unused, so it is likely that the individual must have been on highly good terms with Apple’s vast supply chain to be able to get a hold of this. Browsing around his other listings, ‘yoquierotacobell’ has various different Apple products on sale, including some older iPhone prototypes, some test boards, and even an AirTag Silicone Loop prototype.
These listings can also reveal that aside from the Apple Vision Pro flex cable, we may see other parts of the AR headset from the seller, but in the future.
