LG Unveils 27-Inch & 32-Inch 4K IPS UltraGear Gaming Displays With G-SYNC & FreeSync Premium Support 1

LG silently releases new affordable 4K IPS models in its UltraGear lineup of gaming displays offering G-Sync & Freesync Premium support. The 27GR93U-B and 32GR93U-B are the latest models unveiled with top-tier specifications.

LG Releases New Budget-Friendly UltraGear Gaming Displays With All 4K IPS Panels, Cutting-Edge Features, and Customizable RGB

Diving into the specifications, the 27GR93U-B & 32GR93U come in 27-inch and 32-inch, respectively. Both monitors come in native 4K resolution & support for 144Hz refresh rate. Both models feature the quick 1ms GtG response rate and the support for Vesa DisplayHDR 400.

They come with a DCI-P3 color gamut of 95 percent, which is a slight reduction compared to options such as 27GN950-B, which includes 98 percent. The reason for this difference is that both of them use different IPS technologies. The difference is minimal and wouldn't affect the consumer experience in any way.

Regarding feature support, both models are FreeSync Premium certified and G-Sync compatible. They include options for VRR, Black Stabilizer, Dynamic Action Sync, Crosshairs, and FPS counter, the standard we have seen with other monitors in the lineup. Both monitors have two HDMI 2.1 ports, one DisplayPort 1.4, and three USB 2.0 ports at different locations. They also include a 4-pole 3.5 mm jack for a headset with the superior surround sound of DTS Headphone: X; hence you won't feel any quality compromise.

Another noticeable difference is the reduced power consumption of these models, which is slightly less. The 27-inch variant has a power consumption of 50W, while the 32-inch has a power consumption of 65W.

You can never go wrong with the aesthetics of the UltraGear lineup. The new models feature a slim design with a 3-side, virtually borderless configuration to compliment your aesthetics. It also comes with customizable hexagonal RGB lighting strips on the sides to match the purple-gray color scheme of the monitor. The included stand supports tilt up to 15 degrees and comes with height adjustment as well. It also supports rotational movement, and you can set the monitors vertically, too, depending on your liking,

LG has been a bit silent regarding disclosing the pricing of both monitors. However, fellows at TechPowerUP have seen a listing of the monitor in Hong Kong for around US$560. Hence you can expect somewhere near it. At this price and with the included features, the monitor is an excellent option for those opting for the UltraGear route.
