Nintendo has added a total of four new Super Nintendo, NES, and Game Boy games to Nintendo Switch Online, including a game that was the inspiration for Stardew Valley.

As said, four new games have been added to its entry-level Nintendo subscription service - Switch Online. For the Game Boy, Kirby Tilt ‘n’ Tumble and Blaster Master: Enemy Below have been added, while NES fans can now also enjoy Mystery Tower. Meanwhile, Nintendo has also added a fan-favorite to the SNES library of games - Harvest Moon. Interesting titles, although we're pretty sure that Nintendo fans will appreciate Kirby Tilt 'n' Tumble and Harvest Moon the most.

Harvest Moon can be considered the game that inspired Concerned Ape to create the popular Stardew Valley. We've included a short description of 1997's Harvest Moon below:

Follow in your grandfather’s (muddy) footsteps and become a master farmer!

This classic simulation lets you get hands-on with every aspect of farm life: from sowing crops to raising animals. The harder you work, the bigger and better your farm will become.

You can also visit the town to buy supplies: from food and drink to keep up your strength, to labour-saving tools for making life easier.

To access these titles, players will need to subscribe to Switch Online. No subscription to Nintendo's Switch Online + Expansion pack is required to play these games.
