Bungie's Marathon will launch by March 2026, the end of the current fiscal year, although Sony has yet to commit to this release window. Speaking during a Q&A session which followed the company's latest financial report, where it was also revealed that Sony shipped 80.3 million PlayStation 5 units, as reported by VGC, Sony CFO Lin Tao confirmed that Marathon's sales were factored in the latest forecast, as the company expects the game to be out by March 2026.
