Based on a tip from Ishan Agarwal, who managed to get his hands on some marketing material for both new foldable phones and it turns out that Samsung is making some improvements that will help with the overall user experience, and that is for the better because we could really use some benefits here.
The Galaxy Z Flip 5 will have full keyboard support on the cover display. This means that you can reply to your messages without actually having to open the phone. You will also have full wallet app support, customizable UI, and widgets, allowing you to use your phone without actually unfolding it. On the other side, the Galaxy Z Fold 5 will have a better and thinner S Pen case that has a smaller slot for easy removal and insertion of the pen.
Now, these might look like little additions to the phone but remember, Samsung is trying to make the overall user experience better for the users and the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and the Galaxy Z Flip 5 having these would mean that you are not going to run into too many issues with the device, which is, of course, a good thing.
