AMD Ryzen 9 7900X 12-Core CPU Now Available For $355 US, 7900X3D CPU Priced Similar To Its 8-Core X3D Sibling

AMD's Ryzen 7000 Desktop CPUs saw some stellar deals during the Prime Day sales but that does not mean that the discounts are going away anytime soon. The CPUs can still be found with some amazing discounts across major retailers worldwide. Starting today's deal post, we have B&H who are offering the AMD Ryzen 7900 and 7700 CPUs at some great prices.

The AMD Ryzen 9 7900X3D is starting at $469.78 US which is just $20 US more than the MSRP of the 7800X3D while the 7900X starts at $355 US which is an absolute deal for this killer 12-core and 24-thread chip. AMD's Ryzen 7 7700 is also available for a starting price of $275.99 US at the same retailer.

Moving over to Microcenter, we have the same great deals plus an additional $20 US off when you buy a compatible AM5 motherboard with the top three chips such as the Ryzen 9 7950X, Ryzen 9 7900X3D, and Ryzen 7 7800X3D. The Ryzen 9 7900X is additionally available as a bundle which lets you get an ASUS B650E-F ROG STRIX Gaming WIFI motherboard and a pair of G.Skill Flare X5 Series (32 GB DDR5-6000) memory kit for just $120 US more. These components cost $500 US if they're bought separately. Additionally, all deals that are listed by Microcenter and the rest of the retailers are eligible for a copy of Starfield (more details here).

Lastly, we have Amazon & US who are also offering discounts on the Ryzen 7000 CPUs where they can be bought for lower than the MSRP.

If you look at the absolute value that AMD's AM5 platform offers, then it certainly looks much a whole lot better than the starting days. The prices are now more than acceptable and while the sub-$200 US segment still needs to be filled with better budget solutions such as the recent AMD Ryzen 5 7500F, I would say that now's a great time to hop onboard the Ryzen 7000 family.
